Install Lantern
for Mac.

Lantern runs in your menu bar and lets apps you approve use the Codex or Claude subscription already signed in on your Mac.

Requires a supported Codex or Claude CLI installed and signed in.

Install the app

Open the disk image, drag Lantern to Applications, and launch it. Lantern shows which supported CLIs it can find. Choose one you have already signed into, then start Lantern.

If you are developing Lantern or prefer to run the service yourself, use the command-line setup instead of the menu bar app.
