Lantern documentation

Using Lantern requires two installed pieces: a package in a Next.js app and a companion running on each user's Mac. Lantern's relay connects them. The user approves the exact site before it sends supported AI requests through the Codex or Claude CLI on that Mac.

The provider login stays on the user's Mac; the request does not. Prompts, attached images, and replies pass through the app, Lantern's relay, and the provider's online service. Normal account limits apply.
